mikocode Terms of Service
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms of Service (hereinafter “Terms”) set forth the conditions for use of all apps provided by mikocode (hereinafter “the App”). By downloading or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 2 (Service Description)
The App is an application developed and provided by mikocode. Depending on the app, it may offer features such as displaying and visualizing step data via Apple Health, games, or utilities. Some apps display advertisements (Google AdMob) and may offer an in-app purchase to remove ads. Please refer to the App Store description and each app’s page for the specific features of each app.
Article 3 (Intellectual Property)
All copyrights and other intellectual property rights related to all content (programs, images, text, designs, etc.) contained in the App belong to the developer or legitimate rights holders.
Article 4 (Prohibited Actions)
Users must not engage in the following:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
- Modifying the App or creating derivative works
- Infringing upon the rights of third parties using the App
- Any other actions deemed inappropriate by the developer
Article 5 (Data Handling)
The handling of data in the App is as set forth in the mikocode Privacy Policy. In summary, app settings and records are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to external servers. Pedometer apps integrate with Apple Health.
Article 6 (Disclaimer)
- The developer makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the App’s content.
- The developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the App.
- The developer does not guarantee the operating environment or continuity of the service.
- Health-related data such as step counts depends on Apple Health, and the developer is not responsible for its accuracy.
Article 7 (Service Changes/Termination)
The developer may change the content, add or remove features, or terminate the service without prior notice.
Article 8 (Changes to Terms)
The developer may modify these Terms as necessary. Modified Terms shall take effect upon display on this page.
Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any disputes related to these Terms.
