mikocode Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all apps provided by mikocode (Footscroll, Wakeikoku, Leg Scroll, Tashitama, Reversi Trio, and others; hereinafter “the App”). Where an individual app has app-specific details, they are noted on that app’s page.
1. Basic Policy
The App does not require user registration or account creation. Information obtained is, in principle, processed on your device. mikocode does not operate its own external servers. However, only when you use the World Ranking feature in some game apps, your nickname and score are sent to Google Firebase (see Section 5). Some apps may also use third-party services (Google AdMob / Firebase) for advertising and usage analytics.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
To provide its features, the App stores the following data locally on your device:
- App settings (step goal, language, display preferences, etc.)
- Progress and records (e.g., the survey start date and lap count in “Ino Tadataka’s Dream” mode)
- In-app purchase status (such as ad removal)
This data is stored in local storage (UserDefaults) and, for some apps, in the Keychain. Items saved in the Keychain remain on the device even if the App is deleted and reinstalled, and are used to restore your progress. In all cases the data stays on your device and is not transmitted to external servers.
3. Health Data (Pedometer Apps)
Pedometer apps such as Footscroll read step data from Apple Health. In addition, when you manually add steps, the App may write those steps to Apple Health.
This Health data is used only for display and calculation within the app and is never sent externally. Steps you add manually can be removed at any time from within the app’s list or from Apple’s Health app.
4. Advertising & Analytics
Some apps use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers and usage information to display and optimize ads. For tracking, we ask for your consent in advance through App Tracking Transparency (ATT).
Some apps may also use Firebase Analytics to understand usage and improve quality. These may collect device identifiers and app usage data.

Ads can be removed by purchasing the in-app “Remove Ads” option.
5. World Ranking (supported apps)
Some game apps (such as Tashitama) offer a World Ranking feature that lets you compete on score or time with players worldwide. Only when you voluntarily submit to the ranking, the following information is sent to and stored on Google Firebase (Firestore) servers:
- Nickname (the display name you enter)
- Game score or time
Ranking submissions use anonymous authentication, and the authentication credentials are deleted immediately after submission. Submission happens only through your own voluntary action, and no personally identifying information such as your name or email address is sent. Communication is encrypted via HTTPS. 6. Motion Data (Fitness Apps)
Fitness apps such as Leg Scroll use the iPhone’s motion sensor (accelerometer) to detect movements such as squats. Some fitness apps may also use the front camera or ARFaceTracking to detect the distance between your face and the device, or changes in posture, in real time. This sensor information is used only for real-time detection; images, video, face data, and motion data are neither recorded on the device nor transmitted externally.
7. Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not provide, sell, or share user data with third parties, except in response to a legitimate request based on applicable law.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored on your device is erased when you delete the App. However, some items saved in the Keychain to restore progress may remain on the device after the App is deleted. These are also never transmitted externally and can be removed by resetting the device or through system settings. Nicknames and scores submitted to World Rankings are retained on Firebase servers. To request deletion of your data, please contact us below.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as necessary. When significant changes are made, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
