Wakeikoku Terms of Service
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms of Service (hereinafter “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using Wakeikoku (hereinafter “the App”). By downloading or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 2 (Service Description)
The App is a desk clock that displays ink-painted Japanese landscapes. It provides features including astronomical simulation, time-of-day and seasonal scenery changes, and customizable seal stamps. Some scenes are available via in-app purchase.
Article 3 (Intellectual Property)
All content included in the App (programs, images, text, designs, etc.) is the copyrighted property of the developer or their rightful licensors.
Article 4 (Prohibited Actions)
Users shall not engage in any of the following:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
- Modifying the App or creating derivative works
- Using the App to infringe on the rights of third parties
- Any other actions deemed inappropriate by the developer
Article 5 (Data Handling)
App settings are stored locally on the device. No data is transmitted to external servers. In-app purchase transactions are processed through Apple’s StoreKit.
Article 6 (Disclaimers)
- The developer makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the App’s content.
- The developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App.
- The developer does not guarantee the operating environment or continued availability of the App.
- Astronomical data displayed is based on approximate calculations, and the developer assumes no responsibility for its precision.
Article 7 (Service Changes and Termination)
The developer may change, add to, remove from, or discontinue the App without prior notice.
Article 8 (Changes to Terms)
The developer may modify these Terms as necessary. Updated Terms take effect upon display within the App.
Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
